About me

I have dedicated my 20-year career within NHS Mental Health Services and private practice to providing high quality talking therapy and developing effective teams. Qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist 14 years ago, I have risen to the role of Consultant Clinical Psychologist and am skilled in a number of therapeutic techniques.

My approach

I offer my clients total understanding and acceptance, as I know we are all trying our best and how painful it is when we fall short of the expectations we set ourselves. I feel honoured to  truly get to know a client’s inner-most thoughts and help them work through these often challenging emotions to live the life they want to.

Special interests

I have a special interest in helping people adjust to becoming a parent, postnatal depression/anxiety and birth trauma. I like working with parents to navigate the challenges of parenting and with blended families to ensure everyone gets their needs met and feels loved.

Developing Practice

I have been fortunate to work on research projects, contribute to policy development, set up innovate services and teach at UCL and the Anna Freud Centre. I enjoy offering supervision and consultation to professionals.
