I am a recognised provider for WPA and welcome WPA members accessing therapy through my fast track pathway. I also work with a number of other major private healthcare providers, including: AVIVA, Cigna, Healix. I'm happy to liaise with your insurer directly to make the process as straightforward as possible. Please get in touch to check to discuss options. I see self-funded clients too.

Yes, I offer both. In-person sessions take place in my consulting room in the beautiful surroundings of Wrest Park in Silsoe, Bedfordshire. My clinic offers a calm, welcoming setting with free parking, a waiting area, and an on-site café. For those who prefer the flexibility of remote therapy, or who live further afield, I’m happy to offer online sessions on a secure platform.

Your first appointment is a supportive space to talk through your history, the difficulties you're facing, and what you've already tried. I'll send you some questionnaires to complete beforehand to inform my assessment, and you're welcome to bring someone with you if you'd like. By the end of the session, we'll discuss treatment options together, and I'll offer some practical suggestions so you can begin making positive changes straight away.
-
Yes. What we discuss in sessions stays between us, with the exception of the rare situation where there is a serious risk of harm to you or to someone else. I do not contact your GP unless you wish me to do so. Where therapy is funded through health insurance, with your consent I may need to share a brief treatment plan with them to enable the authorisation of sessions. I do not share information with your employer.

I understand how hard it is to make the first step and reach out to a therapist therefore, I aim to make it as straightforward as possible. I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute telephone consultation for you to talk briefly about what's bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and decide whether I’m the right therapist for you. If it feels like a good fit, we'll arrange a first appointment at a time that suits you. As I’m often in sessions the easiest way to get in touch is via the contact form. If you’d prefer to give me a call or drop me a message, please do so on 07565 537750 and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

You can decide the length of treatment that works for you, whether that’s a shorter course or long-term support. In my experience, regular appointments are important to keep the momentum going and aid progress, therefore I advise that clients have weekly sessions.
